question, i cant seem to find this answer. so i got this game and others and i cant seem to get rid of the saved files, even after i deleted them from the saved folder within the game. they seem to still be there when i open the game again. i know somethings about computers but im not that tech skilled so how do i permanently delete a saved file for these games?
Someone helped me with this, so I’ll spread the happiness. Hover over or click on the save to be deleted and hit your keyboard “delete” key. So simple yet so frustrating if you don’t know.
Games made with Renpy create a separate folder that contain all of the game saves. In Windows, this folder is: C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy (the * is your computer user ID). If you can identify the Plump City folder (it may be called PLUMPMOM, or something else – can’t help you with this), you can either delete all of the saves in the folder, or create a subfolder and move all of the saves into it if you want to keep them. If you have also deleted all of the saves in the game folder, no saves should appear when you restart the game. This usually works for me. Good luck.
