Blackthorn – Chapter 1

Ariana BLACKTHORN is a talented young witch of high birth, and it’s the evening of her Coming of Age trials. This night she must leave the safety of the secluded hamlet in which she lives, and recover the Orb of Containment from a strange mansion situated on a rift in the fabric of reality. Immense magical and worldly power will be hers if she succeeds. Some believe that if Ariana obtains the Orb she will become the prophesied “First Queen of the Witches”, but the path to victory is a perilous one. Between Ariana and the Orb awaits a host of monsters and hostile witches, all of them keen to get the young BLACKTHORN inside their bodies and digest her away – thereby absorbing her already not inconsiderable powers.
