Kate The main character, lived her entire life in rural villages where she lived with her father, her older brother, and strict Christian mother. However, one day the family is broken up, her father leaves, and her older sister is sent to the big city. Kate is 18years old. She recently completed high school, and now is the time to start looking for a higher education. Julia is her elder sister, invites Kate to live with her and to apply for the new college she’s enrolled in. While the school is free, it offers an unusual approach to education. Julia offers Kate a job and she’s excited to start a new chapter in a new place. Maybe her life will not be as glamorous as she would wish it was.
