This is a conversion of the game from RPG maker to HTML and only has the beginning background story, literally just the intro of the original game which could be skipped in the old game. The HTML format seems to allow them to present more of the backstory but it’s more like reading a story with illustrations then playing a game and it plods along compared to the briskness of the old game. Looks like it’s going to take some time before they catch up to the story line they had in version 13 and I’m not sure how they’ll make it an actual game rather than just a story with decision points. Maybe if they put in a navigation map in so that it feels as if you’re controlling where the character is going since that’s all the RPG maker did. Right now, there’s almost no player interaction at all.
